What is the true meaning of "Friendship"?

What is a true friend?

Someone who is there when you really need someone?
Someone that will drop whatever they are doing to be by you your side?
Someone to be there just to listen to you cry without talking, just letting you get the hurt out and understanding why you are hurting?

Or is it that you pick when you want to be friends with someone at your convenience?
Or is it when you put on a show in front of others to make yourself look like someone you are truly not to be accepted?
Or is it "Call me and we will set up a time to meet sometime"?

"Marriages" made in HEAVEN...

I used to hear this a lot and wish that is what I had but over this past year I realized those just don't happen without first of all God in your life and lots of work between a husband and wife. We have had many, many ups and downs and I am sure we will have more but the downs seem to be fewer in between the ups...I knew I always loved Tooter but I really didn't know how to love him the way a wife should love her husband until I made the choice to walk with our Father. He has shown me through His WORD and His church how to do that...we have come a long ways and some of you that know us can testify to that. We still have a lot to learn and to grow more but I for one am so happy that I chose to make my marriage a "marriage" made in HEAVEN with God guiding every step I take and the quidance in His Word to be the wife he has designed me to be....so if all of my sisters can keep us in mind for some prayers...we would really appreciate them and thank you all for being a part of this past year of learning and growing...I LOVE YOU ALL.....

Ok here it goes my first blog...7 Random Things about me...

1. I used to be a licensed hairdresser and had my own salon.

2. I also was a C.N.A back in my junior year of high school.

3. M&M's are my favorite candy.

4. "Days of Our Lives" is my favorite soap opera...(yes Melisser I too
can get very hooked on my soap)

5. I love to knit.

6. I have been married to my husband Tooter for 19 1/2 years. ( and keep planning
girls we have 6 months for the big renewal of our vows for our 20th anniversary.)

7. And for those of you who have never seen my family, we have 2 children,
a daughter Kaite who is 17 yrs. old and a son Christopher who is 20 yrs old....
